Sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP)

Sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) is used in the detergent industry, food industry, metal industry and pharmaceutical industry 1) as one of the main auxiliaries for synthetic detergents, soap builders, water softeners, leather tanning agents, dyeing auxiliaries agent. Sodium tripolyphosphate (Na5P3O10) is used in the food industry, detergent industry, metal industry and pharmaceutical industry 2) as an effective dispersant for suspensions such as coatings, kaolin, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate and drilling mud. 3) As an anti-greasy agent in paper production. 4) In the food industry, sodium tripolyphosphate is used as a quality improver for canned foods, fruit drinks, milk or soy foods. 5) It can soften the meat in canned ham and soften the skin of horse beans in canned horse beans. 6) Sodium tripolyphosphate can also be used as a softener or densifier in the food industry.
